Dispo Service
Banks maintaining several euro accounts with WestLB can use the Dispo Service (Sweeping Service) to pool these accounts in a designated master account, with all debit and credit positions being aggregated on a value date basis.
This means that liquidity management can focus exclusively on the master account. Another advantage lies in the fact that interest is calculated only centrally for the master account, thereby ruling out the risk of interest losses being incurred through faults in the individual accounts.
Depending on the customer’s instructions, the positions transferred to the master account can either be retransferred to the original accounts on the next day or remain in the master account. Fictitious interest settlements for the individual accounts are also possible.
The Dispo Service is also available for other currencies but cannot be used across accounts managed in different currencies.
