Our Philosophy

Determining fair value is the anchor point of our analyses. Only a well-founded and clear valuation can indicate whether a stock's price is above or below its long-term fair value.

Momentum is the driver that causes the stock price to overshoot or undershoot the fair value, and is not necessarily short-term in nature. Important factors that contribute to momentum, such as changes in earnings trends or dynamics, can strongly affect stock prices.

If correctly interpreted, the interaction between fair value and momentum is the basis for successful investment decisions. We show when fair value and momentum support one another and when there are contradictory indications.

It is our aim to anticipate the triggers and drivers behind stock price movements. The fair value forms the basis for our recommendations; momentum keeps them transparent and on top of market developments.Our recommendations and price targets may therefore temporarily differ from the direction indicated by the fair value.

Germany

  • We cover virtually all of the 110 H-DAX stocks locally with a German team. Using our broad European coverage we are able to view the German corporate landscape from a genuinely European perspective.

  • Our European equities strategy comprehensively integrates our bottom-up research and leads to a distinctive top-down market and sector view. Our local network and knowledge gives our clients valuable insights into the German economy.
