WestLB TMT Day 2011
WestLB London
Tuesday, 6 September 2011
Low cost processors and memories; and the falling price of nano-engineering
are driving rapid technical innovation currently.
This can be seen in a broad range of activities from Cloud Computing to the
management of electrical current. Software as a Service combined with mobile
access is opening many exciting new business opportunities.
The trend to remote access is assisted by new applications on smart phones but
also by the increased speed and reliability of data networks. Low cost computing
also enhances automation techniques relevant for the automotive sector and the
control of renewable energy networks. Nano-engineering introduces a broad range
of new possibilities to the lighting sector.
At our 'WestLB TMT Day', we seek to explore these trends with selected companies.
