WestLB Successful Lead Manager for Sub-Sovereign Bonds in 2007
WestLB maintained its position as a leading bond issuing house for the federal states (Länder) and regions in 2007.
In the 2007 league table published by International Financial Review, the Bank was ranked fifth-best bookrunner for bonds of the regional authorities. WestLB acted as lead manager for benchmark issues of North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg as well as for two bonds issued jointly by several federal states.
The fact that WestLB has been ranked continuously among the Top 5 lead managers for sub-sovereign bond issues since 2002 underlines its expertise and commitment to this market segment.
