In April 2009, Masbate Gold Project won the award “Asia-Pacific Mining Deal of the Year 2008” from Project Finance Magazine.
WestLB is one of four lenders in a US$80.3m debt financing to support CGA Mining Limited in the development of the Masbate Gold Project in the Philippines.
CGA Mining is a Perth based mining company listed in Australia and Canada. CGA’s principal asset is the Masbate gold project which it owns through its subsidiaries Filminera Resources Corporation, Philippines Gold Processing and Refining Corporation.
